A Family Adventure

Three-day family trip in the Land of Bānītis, created especially for families with children of different ages (2+) and pets.

1st day – Gulbene and Stāmeriena

Arrival in Gulbene by car. Gulbene depot handcar ride and opportunity to sit in a real steam locomotive. Ride on the Bānītis train to Stāmeriena. Visit Stāmeriena station and Namiņš in the trees. Stāmeriena Palace tour with interactive tasks in the palace. Free time for lunch and a walk in the park. Check-in at a family hotel, dinner.

2nd day – Nature and locals

Breakfast at the hotel. Exhibition: Railways and Steam. Tasting of local treats. Family entertainment and recreation center “Bānītis Wonderland”, fun and lunch. Bānītis welcome at Pullāna viewpoint (around 14:15 or 16:30). Check-in at the hotel, dinner, walk around Alūksne.

3rd day – Alūksne and Castle Island

Breakfast at the hotel. Alūksne Bānītis station with interactive games and stories. In summer – boat ride “Marienburg” or Severīns train. Lunch with children’s menu. Castle Island with playground for the little ones and QR orienteering game for older children, family quiz/game about Bānītis. Prize ceremony from the Land of Bānītis. Return home by car.

Price indicated for a family: 2 adults and 2 children: 1 child – 20% discount, 3 children +20% (if staying in a family room), + dog 10%.
